Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Selma, Texas, United States. Onsite, 2nd shift. U.S. Person status is required for authorized access to ITAR-controlled data.

What you will do

• Plan and manage daily operations for assigned manufacturing departments, including staffing and budget accountability.
• Train and guide employees to produce quality products according to company and customer requirements.
• Administer company rules, safety policies, and corrective actions.
• Lead communication and collaboration across shifts, departments, and organizational levels.
• Analyze department metrics, communicate performance expectations, and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain standard work and recommend improvements to work instructions, processes, methods, policies, and equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of manufacturing experience, including experience leading or directing the work of others.
• Ideally 3 years of direct supervision experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement is preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, metric analysis, and leadership skills.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person under applicable ITAR regulations.

Nice to have

• Lean or Six Sigma certification.
• Root-cause analysis or Six Sigma training.
• Bachelor's degree.
