Principal Specialist, Scheduling/Planning

What you will do

• Develop, integrate, maintain, and baseline Level 1–4 project schedules in Primavera P6 for major capital projects from FEED through commissioning and handover.
• Build work breakdown structures, activity coding, planning bases, schedule narratives, and change-control documentation.
• Integrate contractor, subcontractor, vendor, client, operations, permitting, logistics, and third-party schedules into consolidated master schedules.
• Measure progress and prepare milestone, critical-path, float, manpower, earned-value, and look-ahead reporting.
• Forecast schedule performance, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend mitigation or recovery actions.
• Support schedule audits, risk reviews, contract development, time-impact analyses, extension-of-time requests, delay analyses, and schedule-related claims.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, quantity surveying, project management, or a related technical discipline; equivalent technically grounded experience may be considered.
• 10+ years of planning and scheduling experience supporting EPC or EPCM capital projects.
• Experience developing and maintaining integrated schedules across the full project lifecycle, from FEED through commissioning and handover.
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6, including multi-project scheduling environments.
• Strong knowledge of Critical Path Method, earned value management, progress measurement, schedule forecasting, change management, and performance assessment.
• Experience integrating contractor, subcontractor, and vendor schedules on large capital projects, with strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in oil and gas, LNG, mining and minerals, power and renewables, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, data center, or water infrastructure projects.
• AACE PSP, CCP, PMI-SP, RICS, or equivalent professional certification.
• Experience with Acumen Fuse, Acumen Risk, Primavera Risk Analysis, Safran Risk, Power BI, EcoSys, or SAP PS.
• Familiarity with Advanced Work Packaging, systems completion, commissioning planning, 4D planning, and FIDIC, NEC, LSTK, or reimbursable contracts.
