Location: Henderson, Colorado; the role is also stated to be based in Denver, Colorado. The position involves local work and field testing at remote customer sites.

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

Company

hirify.global develops autonomous yard-operation systems for logistics hubs, combining zero-emission autonomous vehicles, robotic manipulation, and a software-as-a-service business model.

What you will do

  • Define test strategies, test plans, acceptance criteria, and pass/fail requirements for mechanical and electro-mechanical subsystems.
  • Design, build, and maintain reliability fixtures and test rigs for life testing, fatigue, thermal cycling, and environmental stress screening.
  • Analyze failure modes and support design, process, and corrective-action improvements focused on product performance, durability, and lifecycle cost.
  • Execute field testing and debugging locally and at remote customer sites.
  • Run and maintain assembly test fixtures supporting manufacturing operations.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience with integrated hardware/software systems such as robotics, autonomous vehicles, automotive, or aerospace products.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, computer engineering, electrical/electronics engineering, or a similar discipline.
  • Experience designing or supporting test fixtures and reliability test rigs for electro-mechanical systems.
  • Exposure to accelerated life testing methodologies and experience with data acquisition and instrumentation, including sensors, oscilloscopes, and multimeters.
  • Experience using shop equipment such as 3D printers, bandsaws, mills, and drills to build rapid prototypes.
  • Strong technical analysis skills and eagerness to learn.

Nice to have

  • Working knowledge of Python or C++ for test automation or hardware-in-the-loop validation.
  • Experience wiring sensors, designing cable harnesses, and integrating sensors, actuators, or embedded systems into test setups.
  • Familiarity with industrial automation equipment, hardened environments, manufacturing or process engineering, and production test stations.
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary robotics team.

Culture & Benefits

  • Mission focused on safety, sustainable freight transportation, and zero-emission autonomous systems.
  • Health, dental, vision, life, short-term disability, and long-term disability insurance.
