Learning and Development Lead (Operational Excellence)

What you will do

• Lead the continuous improvement program across a multi-site campus, from strategic initiative analysis through delivery of organizational benefits.
• Study production processes and identify improvement opportunities aligned with Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Cost objectives.
• Plan and implement initiatives focused on waste reduction, process and resource optimization, product quality, savings, and reduced operating expenses.
• Monitor productivity indicators and savings generated by improvement projects.
• Lead and facilitate Kaizen teams focused on critical areas and products.
• Train the workforce, coach colleague-led teams, and share improvement-project learnings with the corporate Operational Excellence network.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Advanced experience in engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage teams, lead colleagues, collaborate across business levels, and make timely business decisions.
• Ability to work effectively under intense situations, stress, and pressure.

Nice to have

• Indirect supervisory experience.
• Green Belt or higher certification.
• Lean Six Sigma experience.
