Solutions Architect - TradFi & Digital Asset Systems

Location: New York, NY, United States; hybrid/flexible working arrangements.

Base salary: $175,000–$250,000 USD per year, plus discretionary bonus and equity incentives.

What you will do

• Own technical architecture for custom engagements covering custody, settlement, tokenization, and trading infrastructure.
• Design end-to-end digital asset platforms from asset issuance and tokenization through custody, settlement, trading, and reporting.
• Apply TradFi systems expertise to determine which legacy architecture patterns transfer to digital assets and which require redesign.
• Lead technical discovery with Tier-1 institutional engineers and executives and defend architectural decisions.
• Translate product requirements into architecture, partner with engineering, review designs and code, and prototype solutions when needed.
• Explain on-chain and off-chain tokenization mechanics to technical and non-technical stakeholders and champion thoughtful AI adoption.

Requirements

• Track record of building and scaling TradFi systems at a bank, exchange, custodian, or major financial infrastructure provider.
• Deep applied knowledge of system design and architecture across TradFi and digital asset systems.
• Ability to design and explain tokenization mechanics and full institutional platforms covering custody, settlement, tokenization, and trading.
• Specialist-level technical depth and confidence serving as the senior technical voice on architecture decisions.
• Client-facing experience with Tier-1 institutions, from engineering whiteboard sessions to C-suite briefings.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement associated with New York, NY.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience building blockchain infrastructure or tokenization platforms.
• Architecture leadership at a custodian, exchange, clearinghouse, or Tier-1 bank.
• Production experience with LLMs or AI agents.
