Audit Manager

Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom

Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum plus a 10% bonus

hirify.global is a regional firm of Chartered Accountants growing and restructuring its Audit function.

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of predominantly owner-managed businesses with turnover typically between £15m and £50m.
• Take responsibility for a portfolio of approximately £500k, including audits with fees ranging from £20k to £100k.
• Work closely with the Partner and Head of Audit on client delivery and the development of the Audit function.
• Manage client relationships and engage with senior stakeholders.
• Develop team members, manage performance, and contribute to the function's restructure and growth.

Requirements

• Experienced Audit Manager or strong Assistant Manager ready to progress.
• Solid audit background and strong technical grounding.
• Experience working with owner-managed and entrepreneurial businesses.
• Confidence managing client relationships and senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience managing and developing people.
• Willingness to be visible, hands-on, and commercially involved.
