Senior Accountant (Manufacturing)

Manufacturing business focused on semiconductor operations, with finance collaboration across functions, countries, and cultures.

What you will do

• Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, financial statements, supplemental schedules, and special financial reports.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes using the company chart of accounts.
• Own accounting activities for manufacturing operations and high-value inventory, including inventory reserves.
• Analyze financial status, account information, trends, and accounting options to recommend appropriate actions.
• Review and improve accounting systems, procedures, business processes, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with the Swindon operation, Finance organization, Sofia-based colleagues, management, suppliers, and external customers.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Manufacturing accounting experience and expertise in inventory accounting and reserves.
• Strong finance systems and ERP proficiency, including experience with system upgrades, integrations, or migrations.
• Qualified accountant certification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, organization, planning, time management, collaboration, ethical judgment, and accountability.
