Company

hirify.global develops an end-to-end AI platform for autonomous driving that enables vehicles to learn from real-world experience and operate in complex urban environments.

What you will do

  • Lead diagnosis and resolution of complex vehicle software and hardware issues across regional and global fleet operations.
  • Act as the technical escalation point for high-severity, geo-specific faults and support safety-first incident decisions.
  • Set technical priorities, mentor Field Engineers, and provide operational support to the Field Engineering Lead.
  • Own projects, processes, and systems from problem definition through delivery and global adoption.
  • Drive improvements to fleet tooling, workflows, reliability, and operational practices with cross-functional teams.
  • Document technical learnings and lead technical meetings with Field Engineering, Fleet Service, engineering, and product stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Advanced experience diagnosing complex vehicle software and hardware issues in fleet, automotive, robotics, or ADAS environments.
  • Familiarity with logs, deployments, configurations, system states, failure modes, and structured software debugging.
  • Ability to solve ambiguous problems independently, make sound technical decisions, and lead initiatives without formal people management responsibility.
  • Experience owning projects, processes, or systems end to end and setting technical priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and experience collaborating across global teams.
  • Deep understanding of safety protocols, incident management, operational governance, vehicle diagnostic tools, monitoring platforms such as Datadog and Mender, and JIRA.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting or leading on-road testing operations.
  • Strong understanding of ADAS or autonomous vehicle systems.
  • Experience working with software engineering teams in fleet or production contexts.
  • Experience serving as a senior, deputy, or lead-in-practice within a technical team.

Culture & Benefits

  • Work in an operational environment focused on vehicle safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.
  • Market-benchmarked salary, meaningful equity, and learning and development budgets.
  • Benefits may include health and dental insurance, enhanced parental leave, retirement or pension provisions, therapy access, wellbeing partnerships, and team socials.
  • Shift-based global support aligned with on-site Fleet Servicing and Maintenance operations.

Hiring process

  • Initial recruiter call lasting 30 minutes.
  • Competency interviews covering motivation, communication, and practical problem solving.
  • Technical deep dive on diagnosis, triage, structured debugging, and safety mindset, followed by a final mission and values interview.
