Strategy and Operations Manager (Fintech)

Location: New York City, United States (hybrid). The role operates from hirify.global’s New York office, with the option to work remotely 1–2 days per week based on business needs.

Annual base salary: $145,000–$180,000, excluding additional compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Evaluate strategic initiatives by defining financial discipline, owners, success metrics, and performance tracking.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and benchmarking across fintech and industry peers.
• Partner with finance, product, engineering, design, data, and operations to track initiatives, identify risks, and assess financial model impact.
• Support quarterly and annual planning, including OKR and goal setting, prioritization, and follow-up tracking.
• Prepare Board of Directors materials, executive narratives, visualizations, investor updates, and external presentations.
• Support high-priority workflows, process improvements, monthly business review dashboards, reports, and special projects.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business operations, investment banking, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong analytical skills with experience working with data, building models, and translating analysis into recommendations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including executive-ready slides and narratives.
• Strong organization and project management skills across multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and deadlines.
• Ability to work with senior leaders using sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism.
• Interest in fintech, financial health, and consumer products.
