Senior Software Engineer, Digital Engineering

Location: Fully onsite in Denver, Colorado or Long Beach, California. Occasional travel to other company sites may be required.

Base salary: $155,000–$215,000 in Denver or $160,000–$225,000 in Long Beach, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate full-stack features and services, including data models, APIs, workflows, and web interfaces.
• Model authoritative product and manufacturing data such as parts, revisions, bills of materials, change orders, and as-built records.
• Build integrations and event-driven data flows between in-house software and off-the-shelf engineering and business systems.
• Lead projects from scoping through production delivery, including migrations, parallel operation, and system cutover.
• Implement observability, auditability, data-quality checks, testing, documentation, and incident response practices.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate directly with engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and operations users.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience shipping and operating production applications and services.
• End-to-end web application development experience with data modeling, APIs, and modern frontend technologies such as TypeScript and React.
• Experience with API design, relational data modeling, reliable data movement, project leadership, monitoring, debugging, and incident response.
• Cloud experience such as AWS, plus working knowledge of CI/CD, security fundamentals, and a modern programming language such as Go, Python, or TypeScript.
• Clear written communication and experience producing technical design documents.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident, or otherwise qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR, and be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with event-driven architectures, system integrations, PLM, ERP, MES, ALM, or MBSE systems.
• Experience with versioned auditable records, end-to-end traceability, or migrations from off-the-shelf systems.
• Experience with Go, Terraform, GitOps, or product development for engineering, manufacturing, or operations users.
• Background in aerospace, defense, or another regulated hardware-driven domain.
