Fabrication Technician (Robotics)

Salary: $36.00–$45.00 per hour

What you will do

• Assemble prototype parts and components with careful attention to fit and finish.
• Sand and finish parts for prototype builds and evaluation.
• Provide hands-on support across multiple prototyping projects as priorities change.
• Identify fit, finish, and assembly issues and communicate them to the team.
• Keep shared shop areas and tools organized and ready for future builds.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience assembling and finishing physical parts or prototypes.
• Ability to perform sanding and other detail-oriented finishing work.
• Comfort working in a shared shop and supporting multiple projects.
• Careful, detail-oriented approach to physical assembly and finishing.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers, designers, and other technicians.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting prototype fabrication or model making.
• Experience identifying assembly or finish issues during physical builds and communicating them to a team.
