Salary: $40,000–$75,000 base salary per year

Company

hirify.global develops ruggedized autonomous robots that combine software, hardware, robotics, and mission-critical infrastructure for earthmoving jobsites.

What you will do

  • Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of components, sub-assemblies, PCB assemblies, and final structures according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
  • Install wire harnesses, cables, fasteners, brackets, and hardware, verifying torque values, structural mounting, and alignment.
  • Use precision hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and calibrated measuring instruments for assembly and inspection.
  • Set up and execute functional tests, including instrumentation, data capture, teardown, and pass/fail interpretation.
  • Identify assembly defects and complete rework, refit, and re-assembly to correct non-conformances.
  • Support prototype test capabilities and life tests while maintaining a clean, organized, safety-focused work area.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on assembly or mechanical/electrical work experience.
  • Ability to read and follow assembly drawings, schematics, parts lists, and work instructions independently.
  • Ability to work at a bench or on a vehicle or structure for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Good vision and hand-eye coordination for detailed assembly work.
  • Ability to work onsite in Seattle and follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Nice to have

  • 2+ years of experience in electro-mechanical, precision, or high-volume manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with IPC-A-610 acceptance standards for electronic assemblies.
  • Experience with electrical wiring, basic wire harness installation, and functional testing or experiments.
  • Associate degree in a technical field.
  • Comfort with fast-paced, low-volume/high-mix production and changing documentation or BOMs.

Culture & Benefits

  • Safety-first environment involving powered tools, heavy structures, and electrical systems.
  • Ownership of assemblies through build and functional testing.
  • Work across changing assembly types and product revisions rather than repetitive long production runs.
