Director, Operations Strategy & Enablement (Insurtech)

Location: Remote within the United States; occasional travel to the hirify.global office in Brookfield, Wisconsin, plus nationwide travel for meetings, conferences, and team events.

Salary: $165,100–$313,145 annually. For candidates in specified higher-cost locations, the range is $189,865–$313,145; for all other locations, $165,100–$272,300.

What you will do

• Translate business goals into technical and operational roadmaps with leadership.
• Establish standardized workflows, playbooks, and cross-functional delivery frameworks.
• Lead consumer operations, improve data quality, and expand self-service capabilities.
• Evaluate and deploy AI agents and intelligent automation for workflow routing and team capacity.
• Define AI governance, prompt standards, risk controls, KPIs, SLAs, and process health metrics.
• Mentor and manage Operations teams while building a data-driven, accountable culture.

Requirements

• Work authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future immigration sponsorship.
• 10+ years of experience leading operations, business enablement, or delivery in high-growth B2B software or technology environments.
• Proven experience deploying and governing AI agents, LLMs, or automated tools for operational challenges.
• Experience managing workflows and high-volume data environments, improving data quality, and interpreting large data sets.
• Strong ability to translate complex strategies into scalable execution, manage capacity models, and use data-driven metrics.
• Clear communication across executive, operations, business, and technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with HIPAA or FCRA regulations.
• Knowledge of generative AI, prompt engineering, and operational automation.
• Understanding of SaaS models, technical product lifecycles, and consumer operations.
• Hands-on problem-solving and data-driven decision-making experience.
