Director of Engagement Managers (Principal Engagement Manager)

Location: Remote in Canada. The role requires approximately 30–40% travel within the United States and Canada, plus occasional company or departmental meetings.

Salary: $195,000–$235,000 CAD annually.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of hirify.global’s most complex and high-visibility government transformation engagements.
• Set delivery vision, governance, success criteria, budgets, schedules, and resource plans across concurrent implementations.
• Advise mayors, CIOs, department directors, agency heads, and other senior client stakeholders.
• Design scalable delivery frameworks, quality controls, feedback loops, and continuous-improvement systems.
• Use delivery data, financial analysis, and performance metrics to improve outcomes and protect project margins.
• Develop delivery talent, distribute organizational knowledge, and provide customer insights to Product, Engineering, Sales, and executive leadership.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience leading enterprise-level or government transformation engagements in SaaS, professional services, or civic technology.
• Experience managing complex, high-risk, multi-stakeholder programs end to end, including recovery from dissatisfied clients or failed implementations.
• Experience designing organizational delivery frameworks and customer feedback loops.
• Deep expertise in project management, agile methodologies, organizational change, and financial management.
• Strong data literacy and the ability to define success metrics, establish baselines, and communicate data-backed results to executive audiences.
• Ability to travel within the United States and Canada approximately 30–40%.

Nice to have

• Experience with Salesforce-based platforms, GovTech, or civic technology ecosystems.
• Knowledge of permitting, licensing, or government service delivery workflows.
• Experience managing System Integrator partner relationships on joint delivery programs.
• Organizational change management experience, including Prosci or ADKAR.
• Experience applying AI tools or transitioning teams toward AI-assisted delivery models.
