Business Analyst, Card Portfolio Analytics

Location: Fully remote within the United States; must work Pacific or Mountain Time

Salary: $50.00–$55.00 per hour

What you will do

• Provide analytics and reporting support for a financial institution’s card portfolio, with a focus on a new card program.
• Develop and maintain recurring business reports and dashboards.
• Research data, analyze portfolio performance and trends, and identify key drivers, opportunities, and risks.
• Translate quantitative findings into clear recommendations and presentations for business stakeholders.
• Evaluate reporting processes and improve efficiency, consistency, usability, and automation.
• Manage multiple requests while collaborating with business stakeholders and cross-functional partners.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, reporting, card services, card operations, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of payments, card services, card operations, or card portfolio management.
• Experience developing, refining, and maintaining business reports.
• Experience with DataChoice, First Data, or Symitar is required.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong quantitative analysis capabilities.
• Strong communication, business judgment, organization, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting a card-product launch or portfolio optimization initiative.
• Experience simplifying or automating recurring reporting processes.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot or similar AI-enabled productivity tools.
• Exposure to AI coding or development-assistance tools.
