Business Analyst (Capital Markets)

Location: Charlotte, NC 28202, United States — hybrid, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote

What you will do

• Act as a business consultant and execution partner to senior Market Risk and Capital Markets leaders.
• Prioritize, sequence, and deliver medium- to large-scale strategic initiatives.
• Coordinate roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, and capacity across 5–7 concurrent product areas.
• Track delivery health, risks, issues, and dependencies using JIRA and related tools.
• Produce weekly status reports and executive-level reporting on progress and capacity utilization.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Technology, Risk, and senior leadership to resolve issues and implement solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Management Consulting, Strategy Consulting, or Business Operations experience, or equivalent experience, training, military experience, or education.
• 8+ years of experience in Business Execution, Program Delivery, Product Execution, or consulting-style roles within large, regulated financial institutions.
• Approximately 7 years of banking-industry experience.
• Experience orchestrating delivery across multiple product teams rather than a single Scrum team.
• Strong hands-on JIRA experience with backlog management, dependency tracking, and delivery reporting at scale.
• Experience with Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Market Risk, Treasury, or Regulatory Reporting environments, plus strong executive communication skills.
