Business Systems Analyst (Insurance SaaS)

Location: Remote within the contiguous United States only

Salary: $55–$65 per hour

What you will do

• Gather, document, and deliver business requirements for complex configuration data sets.
• Work directly with insurance carrier stakeholders to define scope and record key project decisions.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for engineering implementation.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Revenue, and Delivery Management teams on assigned implementation projects.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Ability to interpret and organize complex product configuration data sets.
• Clear written and verbal communication with clients and internal teams.
• Proficiency with Google Sheets, JIRA, Confluence, and a data visualization tool such as Tableau or Grist.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in insurance, financial services, or SaaS.
• Familiarity with policy administration systems or underwriting workflows.
