Business Analyst III (TV Engagement Optimization Lead, Live Sports & Entertainment)

Location: Hybrid in Cupertino, CA or Culver City, CA

Salary: $70–$78 per hour

What you will do

• Drive engagement optimization for TV content, with a focus on live sports and entertainment.
• Track engagement metrics and improve impression-to-tap and impression-to-play rates for live and on-demand content.
• Build and maintain dashboards and data resources for cross-functional product, analytics, editorial, marketing, studio, and sports teams.
• Analyze platform and content presentation data, translating findings into strategic recommendations.
• Prepare Keynote presentations and business review materials for senior executives.
• Manage multiple cross-functional initiatives under tight deadlines and monitor competitive approaches to live sports presentation.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in an analytical role, preferably in a subscription business or streaming environment.
• Strong data analysis, problem-solving, data storytelling, and dashboard development skills.
• Experience synthesizing data into recommendations and presenting insights to senior executives.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Proficiency with Excel, Microsoft tools, and Keynote; Tableau experience is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree required; occasional weekend work may be necessary.

Nice to have

• Experience with streaming services, TV application interfaces, video, professional team sports, or live events.
• Experience translating sports rights or live event data into editorial and product recommendations.
• Previous experience working at Apple or in a large, complex, matrixed organization.
• MBA preferred.
