Copy Coordinator

Location: Glendale, California, United States

Salary: $49,000–$59,800 per year based on a 40-hour work week; scheduled hours may vary according to business needs.

What you will do

• Acquire, manage, and maintain accurate commercial copy data for on-air logs.
• Apply commercial copy according to agency instructions and Sales Administration schedules.
• Coordinate sponsorship accommodations and ensure accurate placement of spots and billboards.
• Maintain commercial instructions for assigned accounts and track delivery status with digital media providers.
• Work with Sales, Marketing, Inventory Management, and management to meet advertiser requirements and resolve copy-related issues.
• Support Traffic management projects and coordinate with Business Standards and Practices to ensure spots are approved to air.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Television/Radio Broadcasting or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in Television Traffic.
• Computer literacy, clerical experience, and data entry experience.
• Working knowledge of traffic systems, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, self-motivation, interpersonal communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to learn new systems, communicate clearly in writing and verbally, and make effective decisions under pressure.
