Senior Principal Data Strategy & Governance Manager (AI)

Location: Hybrid, with available locations in San Francisco, New York City, or Austin

Estimated annual salary: $230,000–$317,000 for Bay Area hires; $220,000–$303,000 for New York City, Washington, Washington D.C., and California hires excluding the Bay Area.

What you will do

• Build the roadmap and governance framework for trustworthy, fresh customer and firmographic data.
• Implement AI solutions to reduce inefficiencies caused by unclear or missing data.
• Partner with Data, Intelligence, Analytics, IT, Sales Leaders, and Revenue Operations teams to scale data management systems.
• Establish advanced governance processes, including a change review board, to align field needs with data policies.
• Create playbooks and documentation for repeatable, compliant data operations.
• Manage data ownership, resolve data issues and conflicts, and support change management.

Requirements

• At least 12 years of experience in Sales Operations or CRM architecture.
• Experience using AI tools for automation, decision-making, and complexity reduction.
• Strong experience building account hierarchies and improving data quality through deduplication, firmographic, and technographic enrichment.
• Experience evaluating CRM integrations, firmographic data sources, and the Salesforce tooling ecosystem.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong communication, quantitative, data modeling, and data engineering skills.
