Software Engineer 2 (AI)

Location: Mountain View, California, United States

Base pay: $140,500–$190,000 per year in Mountain View, with potential bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Deliver high-quality web or mobile software across requirements, design, coding, documentation, and release.
• Spend approximately 80–95% of the role on hands-on coding.
• Participate in peer reviews of estimates, designs, and code.
• Resolve defects during QA, pre-production, production, and post-release maintenance.
• Collaborate with product management, QA/QE, product lines, and business units.
• Apply Agile Development, Scrum, and/or Extreme Programming practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience developing web, software, or mobile applications.
• Experience with an object-oriented language such as Java/J2EE, C#, VB.NET, Python, or C++.
• Understanding of software engineering fundamentals, the SDLC, web services, unit testing, and TDD.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, partnership, ownership, and independent decision-making skills.
• Willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to team success.
