Backend Software Development Engineer - Mexico

Location: Remote anywhere in Mexico, with availability to travel to Mexico City for occasional office events. Work authorization in Mexico is required.

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end delivery and ongoing support of software projects.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new features for APIs and services.
• Review peer code and promote standard engineering methodologies.
• Facilitate engineering discussions and collaborate with multifunctional teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and influence technical practices beyond the immediate team.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software development experience with Java, Python, NodeJS, and Go.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Strong skills in modern technologies for designing, delivering, debugging, and maintaining backend systems and front-end user interfaces.
• Several years of recognized technical leadership and impact beyond the immediate team.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Must be authorized to work in Mexico.
