Senior Backend Developer (Python)

What you will do

• Design and implement backend systems and APIs using Python and Go.
• Build data transformation pipelines and analytical workflows with BigQuery and SQL for dynamic business intelligence dashboards.
• Develop and optimize web crawlers and data ingestion pipelines for large volumes of structured and unstructured web data.
• Deploy, scale, and monitor containerized applications with Kubernetes, including observability and automated rollouts and rollbacks.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into practical implementations and collaborate across teams on client-specific features.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, and infrastructure improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Strong Python experience for application development and data workflows.
• Proficiency with SQL and practical experience with Google BigQuery or a similar cloud data warehouse.
• Experience deploying and operating services on Kubernetes.
• Ability to take initiative, work in ambiguous contexts, and deliver solutions without detailed specifications.
• Strong collaboration, prioritization, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Production experience with Go or willingness to learn it.
• Experience with web crawlers, scrapers, or ingestion tools.
• Experience integrating third-party analytics or marketing APIs.
• Familiarity with React and TypeScript.
