Senior Software Engineer (AI Platform)

Location: Helsinki, Finland; hybrid work with 3 days per week in the office. The option to work abroad is available for up to 30 days.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain backend services for campaign optimization products.
• Support data scientists in bringing machine learning models into production.
• Improve software architecture, coding practices, testing, monitoring, tools, and processes.
• Contribute to planning, retrospectives, team improvement, knowledge sharing, and pair programming.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, infrastructure, and customer stakeholders to translate business needs into viable solutions.
• Mentor colleagues on software development practices and help maintain services under SLA.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing and deploying production-quality software.
• Strong Python skills and experience maintaining services under SLA.
• 2+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS or GCP.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work 3 days per week from the Helsinki office.
• Analytical, adaptable, and resilient approach to solving complex customer and technical challenges.

Nice to have

• Experience with Node.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with modern machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Knowledge of MLOps tools and concepts such as MLflow or Kubeflow.
• M.Sc. in a relevant field.
