Sr Project Manager (Healthcare)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; regular in-person attendance is required, with flex employees expected to work from the office at least three days per week.

Base pay: $92,700–$167,500 annually, with eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Lead large, complex projects or programs with multiple sub-projects from initiation through delivery.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, dependencies, risks, issues, and changes.
• Drive the design, development, and implementation of strategic IT projects.
• Set customer expectations and maintain relationships with stakeholders in a matrix environment.
• Coordinate deliverables with product delivery leaders, IT product managers, and program managers while removing barriers and escalating risks.
• Apply software development lifecycle, project management, and enterprise delivery processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of project management experience, or seven years of project management experience.
• Experience delivering and managing large or complex projects using project management methodologies such as PMBOK.
• Experience tracking project finances, monitoring budgets, negotiating, managing conflict, and facilitating meetings.
• Ability to create milestone-driven critical path plans, manage competing priorities, and deliver on schedule.
• Experience influencing stakeholders and leaders in a matrix organization, with strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle, including development, testing, production deployment, and maintenance; familiarity with OWF, Scrum, and XP delivery models.

• PMP certification.
• Healthcare knowledge and prior experience with the organization.
• Experience working with senior management and demonstrating leadership.
• Knowledge of Clarity PPM and Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project.
