Senior AI Architect

Location: Hybrid in Edmonton, Calgary, or Toronto, Canada

What you will do

• Lead discovery with senior stakeholders to identify high-impact agentic AI use cases.
• Translate complex business problems into production-ready AI system designs.
• Architect secure and auditable agentic workflows covering reasoning, tool use, data access, and evaluation.
• Drive solutions from prototype to production deployment on AltaForge, the internal agentic platform.
• Align solutions with AltaForge architecture for reusability and scale.
• Support successful delivery, account growth, and lifecycle value realization.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in AI/ML, architecture, or technical strategy roles.
• Deep experience with agentic AI, RAG systems, orchestration, and tool integration.
• Experience deploying AI systems in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Strong systems thinking and architectural judgment.
• Executive presence and the ability to operate across technical and commercial domains.
• Bias toward production, accountability, and measurable outcomes.
