Manager Engineering

Location: Hengelo, Netherlands. Onsite engineering role, 32–40 hours per week.

Annual gross salary: €75,000–€118,000 based on full-time employment.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, appraise, and develop a team of approximately 14 engineers.
• Maintain and enhance site asset integrity, reliability, and installation availability.
• Establish preventive maintenance and inspection plans aligned with regulatory and business requirements.
• Provide engineering support for maintenance activities, projects, and turnarounds.
• Manage long-term asset planning and risk-based spare parts strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement and solve complex engineering problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in a relevant field.
• Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of preventive maintenance and asset management.
• Fluency in English and Dutch.
• Availability for 32–40 hours per week.
