Field Reimbursement Manager (Dermatology)

Location: Field-based in Concord, North Carolina; permanent residence in the listed territory required. Up to 50% travel and on-site work with healthcare providers.

What you will do

• Educate healthcare providers and office staff on product coverage, prior authorizations, appeals, reimbursement processes, claims submissions, coding, and payer requirements.
• Resolve patient access and affordability issues and provide reimbursement and access support within established rules of engagement.
• Collaborate with sales representatives, key account managers, managed care colleagues, and internal J&J departments.
• Build trust-based relationships across assigned Immunology accounts and serve as the local reimbursement subject-matter expert.
• Manage territory logistics, routing, account planning, and knowledge of payer, coverage, coding, hub, and specialty distribution dynamics.
• Operate in accordance with legal, ethical, compliance, and training requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in healthcare or business/public administration.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in account management, reimbursement, managed care, revenue cycle, or provider and hospital settings.
• Expertise in pharmacy and medical benefits, including buy-and-bill, coding, billing, prior authorization, and appeals.
• Experience with patient support HUB services and the ability to build relationships and influence across a matrix organization.
• Valid US driver’s license, compliant driving record, and ability to travel up to 50%.
• Permanent residence in the listed territory is required.

Nice to have

• Immunology disease-state experience.
• Advanced degree or certifications in prior authorization, billing, or coding.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, private payer initiatives, payer policy, coverage, coding, and payment.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Interest in emerging technologies such as AI.
