Senior Intelligent Automation Engineer (UiPath)

What you will do

• Own the operating model and delivery path from AI prototype intake through qualification, build, hardening, deployment, and rollout.
• Build and lead an AI engineering team, including hiring two engineers, setting standards, reviewing code, and developing team capability.
• Design, build, deploy, maintain, and personally harden agentic solutions and client-facing intellectual property.
• Own solution architecture, infrastructure, model selection, validation, and production standards across AI assets.
• Implement governance as engineering through policy-as-code, guardrails, evaluations, release gates, and automated controls.
• Partner with automation, application engineering, consulting, and practice SMEs to move prioritized pilots into production products.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in engineering roles such as software engineering, architecture, platform engineering, or engineering leadership.
• Ownership of a production system from architecture and implementation through deployment and operation, with the ability to explain technical trade-offs.
• Player-coach experience leading engineers and owning system architecture while continuing to ship production code; production code must have been shipped within the last 12 months.
• Expert-level Azure experience, including AKS or Container Apps, VNets, Entra ID, Key Vault, managed databases, and infrastructure as code, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305).
• Experience delivering software governed by ISO 27001, SOC 2, DORA, HIPAA, or equivalent, with controls implemented as running code.
• Production experience with Python as the primary language and hands-on experience building agents and running open-weight models such as Ollama, llama.cpp, or vLLM.

Nice to have

• Claude Certified Architect certification.
• Microsoft Agentic AI Business Solutions Architect (AB-100) certification.
• Production experience with LLM or agentic systems.
• Experience deploying accelerators or productized intellectual property for multiple clients.
