Senior Design Coordinator

Location: Social Infrastructure, Dartford, United Kingdom. The role requires site visits, site meetings, and regular coordination with construction teams.

What you will do

• Coordinate consultant teams, design teams, subcontractors, and technical design processes through detailed design, procurement, and construction.
• Review consultant and subcontractor designs, coordinate deliverables, and ensure design packages comply with company standards and current regulations.
• Manage design schedules, approvals, document workflows, information exchange, and the flow of technical information to commercial, operations, and client teams.
• Coordinate submissions to planning authorities and building control, obtain required approvals and certificates, and prepare information for handover.
• Attend site and project meetings, monitor executed work against the approved design, and act as the principal design and technical contact during construction.
• Manage RFIs, design issues, corrective measures, change control, health and safety files, and O&M manuals.

Requirements

• Experience coordinating technical and detailed design processes across consultants, subcontractors, commercial teams, and construction teams.
• Ability to review design drawings and technical information for compliance, coordination, cost effectiveness, buildability, and programme requirements.
• Experience managing design approvals, document control, change control, RFIs, and regulatory submissions.
• Ability to attend site visits, site meetings, and weekly or monthly project meetings in Dartford.
• Knowledge of health, safety, environmental, planning, building control, and construction documentation requirements.
