Senior Java Developer (FinTech)

What you will do

• Develop and improve an online card payment system processing millions of transactions per day for more than 1,000 merchants.
• Build new features and automated tests while maintaining high code quality and continuous delivery standards.
• Improve technical and business solutions with a focus on scalability, reliability, and system uptime.
• Work with Java, Kotlin, Spring, Hibernate, SQL, Selenium, Gradle, and AWS.
• Collaborate with highly skilled specialists on complex payment infrastructure.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on Java development experience, including autonomous problem-solving.
• Advanced Java expertise and solid knowledge of the required technologies and tools.
• Academic degree in IT or a programming-related field.
• Experience delivering high-quality, scalable, and reliable code.
• Strong analytical skills, innovative thinking, decision-making ability, and a goal-oriented approach.
• Fluent English is required.

Nice to have

• JavaScript and React experience.
• Experience with Datadog, OpenSearch, or Sentry.
• Payments or fintech industry experience.
• Experience in a product-based IT company.
• Polish fluency.
