What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems for innovative financial products.
• Build and evolve REST APIs and microservices for card payments, treasury, and transaction booking.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to drive financial inclusion through high-quality code.
• Apply pragmatic development practices including TDD, DDD, and continuous integration/delivery.
• Improve existing systems while contributing to greenfield development projects.

Requirements

• Fluency in Java and demonstrable experience in backend development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related engineering field.
• English fluency (verbal and written) is required.
• Proven track record of building complex products in hypergrowth startup environments.
• Ability to work from the Krakow office 3-4 days per week.
