Senior Manual QA Engineer (Fintech)

hirify.global is a London-based fintech building an ETF investment platform designed to make investing simple and accessible.

What you will do

• Manually test frontend and backend features for the Pensions team.
• Test integrations with government systems and external partners under strict protocols and regulations.
• Perform API testing with Postman and validate data using SQL queries.
• Use proxy tools to inspect requests and responses and support mobile regression testing when needed.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, marketers, and external partners to clarify requirements.
• Identify quality gaps and help improve QA workflows and processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of manual QA experience focused on web applications.
• Strong knowledge of test design techniques and hands-on API testing with Postman.
• Technical literacy in HTML/CSS, client-server architecture, and basic debugging.
• Ability to write SQL queries to validate backend logic.
• Confident use of proxy tools such as Charles or Fiddler.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with clear communication across technical and non-technical teams.

Nice to have

• Experience testing Android or iOS mobile applications.
• Interest in improving QA workflows and processes.
• Familiarity with automation tools or AI-assisted testing.
• Experience in product-first or marketing-driven environments.
