QA Engineer (Manual, Web Platform)

What you will do

• Test platform features end to end across frontend, backend, APIs, and third-party integrations.
• Perform regression testing before releases and production smoke testing after each release.
• Validate business and technical requirements with Product and Engineering before development starts.
• Investigate defects using logs, API responses, Chrome DevTools, and network traffic, then create reproducible bug reports.
• Support Monetization, Finance, and Product Tech by reproducing issues, assessing severity, and escalating with clear evidence.
• Maintain test documentation in TestRail, Jira, and Confluence, and collaborate with Automation QA on test automation decisions.

Requirements

• 4+ years of manual QA experience testing web applications across frontend, backend, and APIs.
• Risk-based test design with clear reasoning about test coverage and priorities.
• API testing experience with Postman, Charles, and Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Root cause investigation using Chrome DevTools, HAR files, network and storage analysis, and logs.
• Experience with feature, regression, and production smoke testing throughout the release cycle.
• Written English sufficient for documentation and bug reports; daily use of AI tools such as Claude or Cursor with critical review of their output.

Nice to have

• Experience testing payments, subscriptions, trials, taxes, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
• Knowledge of web funnels, A/B experiments, analytics event validation, Datadog, or Grafana.
• Experience testing AI-powered features.
• Basic Playwright and TypeScript skills.
