Senior Software Engineer (Python)

Location: Paris, France / Levallois; hybrid work setup with up to 2 remote days per week

What you will do

• Design and deliver Python and Java/Kotlin platform components, project archetypes, business-agnostic services, cross-cutting concerns, and Claude Plugins used by more than 60 services.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and implement platform features.
• Take a leading role in establishing the technical vision and roadmap for a highly scalable platform.
• Improve the performance of key Python features and continuously improve implementation, testing, and monitoring practices.
• Ensure platform performance, security, usability, resilience, and observability.

Requirements

• Primarily a backend engineer with expert knowledge of Python.
• Solid understanding of web technologies and the software development life cycle.
• User-first mindset and commitment to secure, well-tested, and pragmatic code.
• Fluent English.
• Proactive, curious, collaborative, and eager to learn.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka and Kubernetes.
• Experience with ADK and machine learning libraries.
• Experience with Java or Kotlin.
