Senior Backend Engineer (Go, IAM)

Andersen is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer (Identity & Access Management) for a project building a scalable distributed platform and delivering reliable backend solutions.

What you will do

• Design and develop high-throughput identity services including SSO, MFA, session management, and federation.
• Implement and scale modern authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT) and manage secure token lifecycles.
• Build high-performance backend services in Go with clear API contracts (gRPC/HTTP) and maintainable code.
• Manage identity infrastructure using DevOps practices, including CI/CD, monitoring, and incident response.
• Act as a subject matter expert on security, conducting threat modeling and guiding teams on secure integrations.
• Mentor engineers, conduct design reviews, and contribute to the technical roadmap and security posture.

Requirements

• 7+ years of backend engineering experience, including 5+ years with Go.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Terragrunt, OpenTofu).
• Upper-Intermediate level of English or higher.
• Production experience with IAM, gRPC, and distributed backend systems.
• Deep expertise in authentication/authorization (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SSO, MFA, RBAC, JWT, cryptography).
• Strong understanding of web security, federated identity, and OWASP Top 10.
• Ability to design high-throughput, low-latency systems with a focus on security.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAML, SCIM, PKI, JWKs, and key management (KMS/HSM).
• Knowledge of identity platforms, rate limiting, abuse mitigation, and adaptive authentication.
