Lead Systems Engineer (d/f/m) Ground Support Systems

Location: Manching, Germany. The role includes willingness to travel within Germany and abroad, and requires security clearance or eligibility for clearance by the recognized authorities.

hirify.global develops aerospace and defence systems, including Ground Support Systems for the A400M aircraft.

What you will do

• Lead system-engineering activities for assigned Ground Support Systems projects.
• Define future product developments and coordinate development projects within the department.
• Manage project scope, priorities, time, cost, quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
• Translate customer and avionics-system requirements into system specifications through performance and characteristic analyses.
• Plan, coordinate, and conduct technical reviews according to Airbus processes, providing regular status reports.
• Support the development of other system engineers within the team.

Requirements

• University degree or Master's degree in Information Technology, Aeronautical Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Extensive experience as a Technical Project Manager and/or System Lead Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of avionics and/or mission-support software development.
• Knowledge of Airbus development processes or development standards, product lines, and modular architectures.
• Experience with hardware/software design, Windows client/server systems, IT security hardening, and IT infrastructure.
• Negotiation-level English is required; security-clearance eligibility is required.

Nice to have

• Good knowledge of German, Spanish, or French.
• Operational background.
• Experience with Airbus development processes and standards.
