Project Manager (Construction)

What you will do

• Lead or support construction projects from inception through completion across commercial, residential, higher education, and life sciences sectors.
• Monitor and report project progress, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
• Manage tender processes, contract administration, project risks, opportunities, and performance.
• Build effective relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Mentor and support junior team members, including graduates and apprentices.

Requirements

• Degree in a relevant construction-related discipline.
• Professional accreditation, or progress toward accreditation, such as RICS, CIOB, or APM.
• Experience delivering a range of projects from conception through completion.
• Strong knowledge of construction project delivery and contract administration; NEC and JCT experience preferred.
• Consultancy or client-side experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, priorities, and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, customer service, and client-interface skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with NEC and JCT building contracts.
• Professional accreditation progression through RICS, CIOB, or APM.
