Project Planner / Scheduler

Location: Farnborough, United Kingdom; onsite 5 days per week. Applicants must have the right to work in the United Kingdom and meet applicable UK Government and contractual personnel security and residency requirements. Some roles may also have nationality requirements.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain integrated programme and project schedules using standard planning tools.
• Align milestones and deliverables with contractual commitments.
• Monitor progress and produce reporting, dashboards, and schedule analysis.
• Manage baselines, stage gates, and change control according to governance standards.
• Facilitate planning workshops and collaborate with delivery teams, PMO, and senior stakeholders.
• Identify schedule risks, issues, and cross-workstream dependencies while improving planning processes and reporting.

Requirements

• Experience in programme or portfolio planning within complex, multi-project environments.
• Strong capability with planning and reporting tools such as MS Project and Power BI.
• Knowledge of programme and project methodologies.
• Excellent communication, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and collaborate across teams.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom and eligibility for applicable UK Government and contractual security requirements.

Nice to have

• Professional project management or project controls certifications, such as PMQ or Project Planning and Control Practitioner.
• Experience in enterprise PMO environments.
• Exposure to automated reporting solutions.
