TL;DR
AI Governance Specialist (AI/Responsible AI): Developing and maintaining AI governance frameworks, risk assessments, controls, and reporting for enterprise AI and ML use cases with an accent on the EU AI Act, model risk, and transparent decision-making. Focus on reviewing AI systems, assessing data and model limitations, challenging control decisions, and advising business, legal, risk, security, and technology stakeholders.
Location: Barcelona, Poblenou, Spain; hybrid working model

What you will do
- Monitor emerging AI regulations, industry standards, and best practices to strengthen AI governance.
- Apply AI governance frameworks, policies, and regulatory requirements, including the EU AI Act, to AI use cases.
- Conduct and review AI risk and impact assessments across the organization.
- Advise business, technology, risk, legal, compliance, and security stakeholders on Responsible AI requirements.
- Develop governance processes, controls, standards, review methodologies, and assessment reports.
- Review AI and ML systems, including their methodologies, data usage, performance, limitations, and risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Data, or a related field.
- Proven experience in AI Governance, Responsible AI, Model Risk Management, or AI Risk and Compliance.
- Hands-on experience conducting and reviewing AI risk and impact assessments.
- Practical knowledge of the EU AI Act and familiarity with NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, or similar frameworks.
- Strong understanding of AI and ML systems, including model design, data usage, performance, limitations, and associated risks.
- Excellent communication skills for challenging, influencing, and advising technical and business stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience in insurance or financial services.
- Knowledge of Generative AI and Large Language Models.
- Experience designing or scaling governance frameworks in regulated environments.
