Internal Auditor (Data Security & AI)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; hybrid setup with 3 days in-office and 2 days remote weekly after the first 3 months

What you will do

• Audit security controls across cloud infrastructure, applications, and operations, including access controls, encryption, monitoring, incident response, and third-party security.
• Design and execute hirify.global's first AI governance audit program covering model development, data quality, bias testing, monitoring, transparency, and regulatory alignment.
• Audit data handling practices across systems for GDPR compliance, data minimization, and data retention.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, review penetration tests, and perform model audits to identify exploitable security and AI governance gaps.
• Prioritize risks, gather evidence, present findings, and create remediation roadmaps.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience auditing cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, application security, or operational security in fintech or other high-security environments.
• Familiarity with AI risk frameworks such as NIST AI RMF, model risk management, or ML/AI system audits.
• Strong technical understanding of encryption, APIs, cloud architecture, and data flows.
• Ability to design efficient audits, gather evidence, prioritize risks, and communicate impactful findings.
• Fluent English required; multilingual capability is beneficial for multi-market operations.
