Senior Cloud Security Consultant (Cloud Security)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands. Hybrid work is available from home, the client site, or the Amsterdam office. A work permit cannot be provided, and non-Dutch speakers will not be accepted.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and control security solutions for applications and data hosted in public, private, and hybrid clouds across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.
• Benchmark cloud technologies, support technical decisions, design cloud architectures, and deliver proofs of concept and value.
• Automate the installation of technical foundations and apply microservices, containerization, and continuous integration and delivery practices.
• Manage end-to-end projects or complex project substreams, including reporting, delivery validation, and customer relationship management.
• Develop SaaS and cybersecurity solutions through the CyberLab, including AI-related initiatives, market research, and cybersecurity proofs of concept.
• Train users and administrators, contribute to cybersecurity publications and events, support commercial proposals, and supervise junior and confirmed consultants.

Requirements

• Master's degree in engineering, computer science, statistics, or econometrics.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in a consulting firm, including cybersecurity projects.
• Knowledge of Python, C++, Java, Ruby, Node, Go, and/or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of IP networks, Unix/Linux, Windows and/or macOS, AWS, Azure and/or GCP, web servers, databases, middleware, and cryptography.
• English and Dutch communication and presentation skills are required.
• Work authorization must already be available because work permit sponsorship is not provided.
