SCADA Controller 1 - CO2

Location: Onsite at an office near Cortez, Colorado, United States. The role operates in a secured control center supporting a 24x7x365 operation with rotating 12-hour shifts, schedule changes, unscheduled overtime, and occasional travel outside the assigned work area.

Salary: USD $39.00–$56.00 per hour

What you will do

• Use SCADA systems to monitor and control CO2 production facilities and processes.
• Monitor equipment pressures, temperatures, flow rates, production volumes, product quality, and facility power and communications.
• Assess abnormal equipment conditions, respond to emergencies, and follow emergency response procedures.
• Coordinate production volumes with pipeline delivery demand and maintenance activities across multiple facilities.
• Communicate critical information to field operations and management and ensure effective shift handovers.
• Support process improvement while maintaining safe, compliant, and reliable operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic mathematics skills and strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication abilities.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and similar applications.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts in a 24x7x365 control-center operation, respond to alarms, and adjust to changing schedules.
• Valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable to the company and its insurers.
• Ability to work onsite near Cortez, Colorado, pass a pre-employment drug screen, and complete a background check.

Nice to have

• Five years of direct experience in gas production, compression, and control.
• Gas compression experience and proficiency with SCADA programs.
• Mechanical familiarity with pumps and compressors.
• Knowledge of CO2 and crude oil terminology and principles.
• Associate degree or experience in a 24x7x365 work environment.
