Software Engineer II (Fintech)

Location: Boston, United States; the compensation range is blended across hub locations in Florida, Massachusetts, and Wisconsin.

Salary: $66,800–$113,700 per year, plus potential bonuses, incentive plans, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and architect enterprise applications within the hirify.global product line.
• Develop, test, debug, document, implement, maintain, and integrate application components.
• Translate business requirements, features, and user stories into product designs and technical specifications.
• Build secure, high-performing, and scalable software while maintaining coding standards and development procedures.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers, QA Engineers, Product Owners, and Agile teams to estimate work and monitor progress.
• Participate in production on-call support after six months, respond to off-hours escalations within 2–3 hours, and mentor other team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of software development experience, including web application development and object-oriented design.
• Fluency in C#, RESTful services, MS SQL Server, T-SQL, Pub/Sub, and .NET Core.
• Expertise in T-SQL and SQL Server tuning methodologies.
• Experience working in Agile teams and managing applications through the full development lifecycle.
• Clear communication, teamwork, independent problem-solving, and effective time management skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related discipline.
• Experience with .NET 8+, LINQ, Dapper, and database performance optimization.
• Experience implementing software for real-time production finance transaction processing systems.
