Software Engineering Team Lead (PHP)

What you will do

• Build features, fix bugs, and participate in sprints and project delivery as a senior engineer.
• Set the team's technical direction and improve architecture, engineering standards, and ways of working.
• Plan and prioritize development work with the Project Manager.
• Write technical specifications and review designs and code.
• Represent hirify.global in technical discussions with clients and partners.
• Balance client delivery with maintenance, upgrades, technical debt, and developer mentoring.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience in enterprise environments, ideally in finance, insurance, or another regulated industry handling sensitive data.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale data systems.
• Strong production experience with Domain-Driven Design and CQRS.
• Experience with Doctrine ORM and modern PHP.
• Experience with specifications, code review, testing, CI/CD, and releases.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with clients and stakeholders.
