Senior Engineer, Equipment Engineering (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: BangPa-in, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Thailand. Onsite at BangPa-In Building 2.

What you will do

• Supervise engineers, supervisors, and technicians supporting manufacturing equipment and process performance.
• Develop and implement new cleaning technologies to meet customer requirements and improve yield, reliability, robustness, and cycle time.
• Create equipment monitoring systems, OCAP processes, improvement plans, and KPI frameworks.
• Perform equipment and process risk assessments while improving operating costs through lower consumption, new materials, and supplier qualification.
• Manage new product qualification, spending, spare-part inventory, and equipment or process data for the Virtual Factory Console.
• Drive equipment standardization, product quality, EHS, ESD, contamination control, and compliance with site procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Science, Chemistry, Physics, or an equivalent field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a related position.
• Knowledge of ultrasonic and megasonic cleaning processes.
• Experience with brush scrubbing, rinsing, drying, equipment operation, recipe setup, and preventive maintenance.
• Experience with chemical handling and concentration control for alkaline and surfactant cleaners.
• Cleanroom experience, including ESD, gowning, and contamination control.

Nice to have

• Experience in electronics, semiconductor, or HDD manufacturing, particularly slider fabrication or HGA assembly.
