Senior Manufacturing Equipment Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Pathumthani (Navanakorn), Thailand; onsite manufacturing role

What you will do

• Provide maintenance engineering support for manufacturing equipment and automation systems to maximize uptime, reliability, and production efficiency.
• Perform and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, calibration, qualification, and validation of equipment.
• Analyze equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead equipment improvement projects focused on productivity, utilization, quality, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
• Support new product introduction, equipment readiness for mass production, engineering changes, and automation improvements.
• Maintain technical documentation and coordinate with production, engineering, quality, facilities, vendors, and external suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, mechatronics, industrial engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least seven years of experience in equipment maintenance, manufacturing engineering, automation support, or a related manufacturing function.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance systems, troubleshooting, PLCs, automation systems, sensors, pneumatic systems, and mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Experience with root-cause analysis, sustainable corrective actions, statistical analysis tools, continuous improvement methods, and manufacturing systems.
• Good communication and coordination skills in both English and Thai are required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with global teams outside regular working hours when necessary.

Nice to have

• Experience in electronics, semiconductor, optical, or other high-technology manufacturing.
