Engineer Staff, Mfg Product (Optical Manufacturing)

Location: Pathumthani (Navanakorn), Thailand. The role requires work in an office, engineering laboratory, cleanroom, and manufacturing-floor environments.

What you will do

• Act as the principal Product Engineer and senior technical owner for assigned Cloud products.
• Lead product industrialization, NPI, product transfer, qualification, production ramp-up, and sustaining engineering.
• Ensure bills of materials, drawings, specifications, configurations, and product documentation are production-ready.
• Lead DfX reviews covering manufacturability, assembly, test, reliability, and cost.
• Improve product yield, performance, quality, reliability, and manufacturing cost through data-driven engineering actions.
• Coordinate technical decisions and issue resolution across Manufacturing, R&D, Process Engineering, Quality, NPI, Supply Chain, and global teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Optical, Manufacturing Engineering, Physics, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in product engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related technical role.
• Extensive experience with NPI, product transfer, volume ramp, and sustaining engineering.
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, configuration control, DfX, qualification, and engineering-change management.
• Experience in optical, photonic, semiconductor, electronics, or other high-technology manufacturing is strongly preferred.
• Effective English communication is required for collaboration with global teams.
