Buyer (Supply Chain)

Location: On-site in Pasir Gudang, Johor, Malaysia

What you will do

• Manage new vendor creation and setup in the COUPA ERP system.
• Coordinate purchase requisitions, purchase order creation, and approval flows.
• Order materials for production based on production plans and forecasts while monitoring inventory levels.
• Check delivery notes against purchase orders and handle rejected materials with suppliers.
• Maintain supplier, lead-time, ordering-point, pricing, and invoice data in the ERP system.
• Monitor supplier performance and provide forecasts to suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with relevant supply chain management or logistics qualifications.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Research & Development.
• Self-starter with a hands-on approach and the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Solid Excel skills and high proficiency in standard job costing and variance analysis.
• Strong attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
