Technical Program/Project Management IV (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Austin, TX; full-time onsite work is required. The role includes approximately 20% travel and is relocation eligible.

Salary: $116,000–$159,500 per year.

What you will do

• Lead operations-focused projects from planning through implementation, managing deliverables, milestones, risks, schedules, costs, and business outcomes.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, production control, demand management, quality, engineering, supply chain, program teams, customers, vendors, and matrixed project members.
• Identify and implement improvements in cost, quality, delivery, safety, productivity, flow, and operational discipline.
• Provide project status updates, technical and business input, risk assessments, tradeoff recommendations, and resolution plans.
• Rotate through key Austin Operations areas while building knowledge of semiconductor equipment manufacturing, factory operations, and customer commitments.
• Demonstrate readiness for final placement into an Austin Operations role within 6–9 months.

Requirements

• Recent Junior Military Officer experience with demonstrated leadership of teams, missions, operations, or complex programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, a technical discipline, operations, supply chain, business, or a related field.
• Experience leading cross-functional execution, managing competing priorities, operating under constraints, and making decisions with incomplete information.
• Ability to build credibility with technical, operational, and front-line teams and influence without direct authority.
• Strong communication skills, business judgment, ownership mindset, and disciplined execution.
• Ability to work full-time onsite in Austin, Texas.

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing, maintenance, logistics, supply chain, aviation, naval, aerospace, semiconductor, industrial, or other complex operational environments.
• Familiarity with Lean, continuous improvement, root cause analysis, project management, or operational excellence methods.
• Experience managing safety, quality, readiness, training, maintenance, logistics, or mission-critical operations.
• Interest in building a long-term career in hirify.global Operations in Austin.
